Chocolate trip to the XIX century painter's studio
From September 21 until October 2, 2009 Confectionary Factory named after N. K. Krupskaya under the support from the State Russian Museum holds the contest of essays among the pupils of 7-9 form of the North-West region schools.
This project is aimed at the education of growing generation with love to beautiful masterpieces created by Russian painters. It will support the strive of the young generation to self-development and learning of the cultural heritage of the formers centuries, as well as will influence the rise of the cultural level among the youth.
During this project over 6000 school-children of the North-West region of Russia will be able to understand better the greatest creations of Russian painters. While preparing their essays under the subject «Chocolate trip to the XIX century painter' s studio contest participants will have to collect and investigate materials that are not only related to the school program, but to think also about the link that exists between generations. They will also try to think about new subjects that our contemporaries are inspired for by the great masterpieces of Russian masters of art.
All the participants of the contest will get certificates and sweet prizes from Krupskaya factory, and the winners — authors of the most interesting works will get the main prize, which is the trip to Saint-Petersburg for the whole class with the excursions to Krupskaya factory and the State Russian Museum.
