Krupskaya factory became one of the sponsors of the White Bear Cubs` Leaving the Den Holiday which took place in Leningradskiy Zoo on Sunday 20th of April.

Last year at the end of November the white female bear Uslada became mother for the seventh time — two bear cubs were born. For a long time the little bears could be watched only with the help of camera placed in the den. The bear cubs are the direct opposite of each other in characters. The first is very bright, playful and curious, the second is a clodhopper, but very serious.

On Sunday the bear cubs left their den for the first time. They were allowed to swim at the swimming-pool, and their games made all children and adults happy. After the names of the bear cubs — Peter and Krasin — were announced, the sponsors presented the baby animals with gifts: plastic cones, casks, rubber toys.

On special stand all visitors could read the history and see photos of brothers-cubs` parents — female bear Uslada and bear called Menshikov. In total this couple gave birth to 12 bear cubs including the heroes of the holiday. All ten animals live in different zoos, but Krasin and Peter will leave Saint-Petersburg for Moskovskiy Zoo and for the far Japan.

The picture of white bears which became a symbol of Leningradskiy Zoo, is also traditional for packages of famous products of Krupskaya factory. Therefore every child who came that day to the zoo got a sweet gift — a chocolate bar «Bear on the North». Chocolate in hands and a real bear before the eyes — this is a recipe for good weekend!

On April 1-3, International Exhibition InterFood 2008 — the main food exhibition of Northwest of Russia — took place in trade mart «Lenexpo». More than 200 Russian and foreign companies took part in it. Among the participants there were the most leading and professional companies from Russia, Republic of Belarus, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Korea, Great Britain.

Within the bounds of the Exhibition InterFood 2008 OJSC «Confectionery factory named after N. K. Krupskaya» was awarded with a gold medal for a chocolate box «Collection», a chocolate box «Russian Museum», a chocolate tablet «Saint-Petersburg» extra milk in the contest «New Products in Saint-Petersburg». The factory also received Qualifying Certificates for these three sorts of confectionery which give the factory the right to mark serial products with a special sign «INTERFOOD Award».

Every weekend during spring vacations from 22 March to 6 April 2008 the action «Sweet Movie» with participation of Krupskaya factory took place in cinema chain «Kronverk Cinema».

Boys and girls who visited children`s shows in cinemas «Akademicheskiy», «Balkanskiy», «Zanevskiy Kaskad», «Merkuriy», «Nord» and «Rodeo Drive» these days were lucky. Before watching films or animated cartoons little visitors recited verses, sang songs and got presents from Krupskaya factory — chocolate tablets «Bear on the North». Pleasant surprise for a good mood!
